On Thursday, the Russian foreign ministry stated that ruptures to the Nord Stream pipelines that have caused gas leaks off the coasts of Denmark and Sweden occurred in territory that is “fully under the control” of U.S. intelligence agencies. These ruptures have caused gas to leak off the coasts of Denmark and Sweden.

Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, told a pro-Kremlin broadcast that the United States has “full control” over the waters surrounding Denmark and Sweden, which is where four leaks have been discovered on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines. These pipelines run across the floor of the Baltic Sea between Russia and Germany.

“It occurred in the economic and commercial zones of Denmark and Sweden respectively. There are nations that are focused on NATO, “In an interview with the online broadcast of Soloviev Live on Thursday, Zakharova made these statements.

They are nations that are completely under the grip of the intelligence agencies of the United States.

After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Sweden abandoned its long-held stance of non-alignment and is now in the process of becoming a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), while Denmark is already a member of the military alliance.

Zakharova did not present any proof to support her claim that the United States exerts influence over Sweden and Denmark. Russia is regularly heard railing against the influence of the United States as well as the American military’s assistance for Europe.

The European Union has pledged a “strong” reaction to any purposeful interruption of its energy infrastructure and believes that sabotage was the cause of the gas leaks that occurred on the underwater Russian pipelines that supply Europe with natural gas.

Even though neither pipeline was active at the time that the explosions are thought to have occurred, both of them were full with gas that has been leaking into the Baltic Sea ever since the ruptures in the pipelines were discovered on Monday.
