Netflix stated earlier this year that it is losing money because users from several homes are sharing accounts, which violates the company’s terms of service. The company’s aim to crack down on this is now on display.

A new “Add a house” option will be added to the designs. It will enable users to share a single account across numerous residences, with consumers paying more for each home beyond the first.

The “Add a Home” option is a development of the “Add Extra Member” option, which was pioneered earlier this year in Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru. Argentina, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras will test the function.

Users on the Basic plan may add one additional house to their account, Standard up to two, and Premium up to three. It will cost ARS 219 (about $1.60) per month in Argentina and $2.99 per month in the rest of LATAM.

Netflix guarantees that you will be able to watch on your own device when traveling. Furthermore, the account owner will always be able to delete any extra houses from the Settings page at any moment.
