With the OnePlus 10T, the T series from OnePlus is making a return. The 10T has been the subject of several rumors, but now OnePlus is prepared to officially unveil the phone in New York City. On August 3, during the presentation, we should finally get confirmation of the complete specifications of the smartphone. There are a few things we do know about the gadget, but there are still many unknowns.

OnePlus has confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor will power the 10T. That’s a fantastic improvement for the 10T since it has Qualcomm’s most recent processor, but later this year, when the anticipated Gen 2 is shown, it will probably be outperformed. Still, it positions the 10T to be OnePlus’ quickest flagship.

According to rumors, the OnePlus 10T will include three cameras: a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Its 6.7-inch display is said to handle up to 120Hz of dynamic refresh rate. The 10T may be among the greatest smartphones for the second half of 2022 if reports of 150-watt super fast charging are true.

Fortunately, the OnePlus 10T is debuting with a significant OS upgrade in addition to superb specifications. On August 3, OnePlus will also introduce OxygenOS 13, which will debut with the 10T. While retaining the features that users have come to expect from OnePlus devices, the upcoming OS upgrade will be the most customized one yet (such as the always-on-display and Zen modes).

The OnePlus 10T may become quite popular if OxygenOS 13 is able to compete well with iOS 16 and Google’s ‘regular’ Android 13 version. However, there are still simply too many unanswered concerns about the smartphone for anything to be confirmed. Fortunately, solutions will be available shortly.
